The engineer thing depents on the flight and age of the plane
And normaly approved Pilots can´t look over the shoulder of there colleagues

and that the
CAPTAIN only got 50 hours of flying on a 777 is a non Logical Story

because the first officer (co-Pilot) is the one who gets trained on an airplane or the upgrowing captain will be schooled by an professional Captain with Minimum of 800-1000 flying hours on this aircraft type
And if a "Captain" can´t land an aircraft in perfect weather conditions without his fucking ILS ... he should not be a captain

But it´s a worldwide Problem with the cheep Airlines from asia and other countrys... they are only getting trained in the Simulators and learn how to klick the "approch" button at the Autopilot but they does not get often confronted with "high risk" situations....
