They want to ban cheater.
At the other hand they know that a lot of banned player will buy another account.
And we know that EA takes more care about the money than cheater or customer.
At the end EA isn't the winner.
A game without cheater will not be sold more. It will be sold less.
If cheater don't buy the game they will sell less copies.
If cheater not "rinse and repeat" after getting banned they will lose the business of multiple copies sold to cheater.
Taking in consideration my own habits the numbers of copies sold to cheater is not a negligible number.
It's a significant number.
I don't care so much if I get banned.
I rinse and repeat as so far I have enough fun with the game.
To summarize:
A game without cheater is the worst what can happen to the business of EA.
I love how he says with casual certainty they have and are beating the cheats..
Perhaps its a philosophical thing? perhaps 'cheating' is charging 70 euros for a game which isn't fully unlocked & stupid add-on's that cost silly money. The reason games have been treading water for 10 years or more.. companies like EA milking people dry. Music industry did the same thing for many years.
'to summarise' its a war game, and my AA mod to my weapon means I have the bigger better gun!
