Definitely works, a lot harder now though. Would be easier if you can get mav to lock onto people with aimbot. I think you have to be descending and moving forward to get enough speed to kill.

yea ive got a mav kill, was playing caspian border and knocked a guy to his death off the top and then squished one that parachuted down.
