How do people make movies?
For one I know people use fraps to record stuff, but how do they add text, effects, etc?
I'd like to know what programs people recommend to use to create awesomecake videos. Doesn't matters if it's free or not.

Do you by any chance happen to know any site with tutorials regarding editing (fraps) movies? I can't seem to find them :/

i use fraps + sony vegas pro9, if you need tutorials just use youtube and search "sony vegas pro 9 tutorial"

I recommend:
Sony Vegas for editing down the raw shit you have.
Use Adobe After Effects to create advanced intros.
Use Fraps to record, however I use PlayClaw which minimizes my fps ratio.
Use Photoshop for quick watermarks.
