Cant get IRC to work

Cant get IRC to work
I went to the main page and clicked on the irc button but it comes with with this::

Dark Green is usually a link to something thats not particularly important.
Light Green means the reply is funny/sarcastic.

Dude, just tell me how to get the IRC to work, everytime i go to join it, my internet says i dont have the correct files???

Download mIRC or some other IRC program, learn how to connect, PROFIT!
