Would you give me all of your data just like that? I mean just everything, your email accounts WITH passes, your CC details, access to your medical data, browsing history, etc etc? i swear i just keep it safe and will never abuse it!
That's the problem there is.
We trust companys (who end up beeing humans…) that our data is safe and that noone's gonna abuse it. Even if u trust the company, how many lessons of db hacking or leaked info did we get during the last few years?
The only solution is strong crypto but it's too much of a hassle for 99.99% of the Joe's and alot of services don't even give that option.
Also, Google makes $$$$$ with our data, that's why their services are "free".

True that man! encrypt everything. There is so much data being sold by companies. It's the same with them 'free' apps on your phone. Nothing is free, even if it looks like it. Somebody is getting paid.
