i have 12 gig of ram a i5 3570 3.40 ghz and asus gigabyte mainbord DZ77BH

and asus ati 7950

if i get a

Intel Core i7 3770K, 3,5GHz, 1155, Box

wil that increase fps and also do i need a reset for a new cpu?
