Hope after all?
WarZ seems to start unbanning accounts after a ban-wave that roughly banned 2000+ WarZ accounts that ultimately seemed to be done in error.
"Today we banned ~2000 players for using 3rd party hacks and these bans are 100%. None of these bans have anything to do with exploiting any bugs in any way. These guys were banned because the account was caught hacking."

Patrick "Kewk" Bowman posted on The War Z forums after placing the final verdict on the accounts.
The ban-wave created quite the controversy on the warz forums where people claimed to have been banned in error, only to be met with a infraction+padlock or their entire thread deleted.
But there's hope,
Today we've seen several threads on the war z pop up where people claimed to be unbanned!

What's even more interesting is the following.
People who seem to have been banned "in error" seem to get compensated with 1000 GC.
We have no official WarZ response as the devs keep their mouth shut on this event.
Maybe an appology to your users made by
