Then you may want to visit the manufacturers site the HDD's site and get a tool to format it. Normally hdds have hard drive erase or format utilities. Then try the installation. I would also suggest you first reset your bios settings back to normal if u changed anything. If you need more help let me know i will be here and watching this thread my friend.

i am a bit confused on it showing up on your my computer is this a second hard drive?

Check if your bios has a low level format option. It will format the hdd. Give me more info btw and be more specific u lost me when u wrote on my computer it shows.
