It does kinda sound fishy, but I would imagine that mods/admins could check his IP against the IP's ElItE_HaXoR had (assuming they were logged somehow) and if they were in the same range they could tell if this is the same person. But for some reason I don't think it is, and I believe he just happened to stumble accross the fact that ElItE_HaXoR was banned. Names are pretty close though so I could see him being worried.
